Business is serious but everything in it does not have to be. It’s important to try and find something personal you can relate to with those you have business relationships with. A great and simple way to do this is to have a laugh. On top of that, a good laugh makes meetings and other business related events much more comfortable and beneficial.

  • Do Random Acts Of Kindness

Believe it or not, doing random acts of kindness is a great way of improving your social skills. The reason for this is likely the fact than random acts of kindness are a great confidence and self-worth booster. Earlier I mentioned that one of the most important things in positive communication is confidence. After all, the better we feel about ourselves the better we will treat others.

  • Keep Nurturing Your Relationships

Once a business relationship is formed it’s not necessarily going to be there forever, especially if you don’t do your part to keep the other party interested. Every now and then it’s a good idea to show your appreciation or their business. It doesn’t have to be anything big, just something that says thanks.
